I’m Amal Talj, the proud owner of New Avenue Boutique. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

From the time I can remember, I have always had a passion for design and decoration. So after thirty years of valuable experience in the field, working with one of Canada’s leading manufacturers, I decided to put my skills to use and founded a retail showroom, New Avenue Boutique, in 2005 to give all consumers and designers a behind the scene experience.

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, we are a family-owned and run business. When I opened my doors seventeen years ago, I brought both my children into the industry as they share my passion for interior design. Today, we have built a reputation for consistent quality, superior customer service, and above all, furniture tailored specifically for you.

The most enjoyable part of my business is, meeting and interacting with a wide range of consumers and designers. The most rewarding of what I do is seeing their expressions after delivery and installation. My philosophy is “designed for you and built for life.”

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is if I won’t put it in my home, I won’t try and sell it to you. We design homes and create furniture as if it were our own home.

I attribute my success to my customer service and highly consistent product quality.

Satisfied clients, designers who come back for more, and dealing with satisfied individuals who refer us to family and friends has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

When I am not at work, I like staying active physically and mentally.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
